Many individuals opt for renting a car for transportation, however, there are also alternative options such as utilizing public transportation such as “El Bus” or affordable taxis known as “Colectivos”. We can provide you with our recommendations for transportation.

If you’re planning to explore Playa Tamarindo, you’ll be happy to know that the main streets are paved, making it easy to get around. When you stay at Casa Tamasol, you’ll only be an hour and thirty minutes drive from Liberia International Airport (LIR). If you’re coming from San Jose, it’s a 5-hour drive.
